Whether you are an allergy sufferer or not, having your mattress and bedding professionally cleansed reduces harmful dust particles in the atmosphere and improves the quality of the air you breathe.
Having up to 2 million mites munching away beneath you is not a pleasant thought especially, as we spend a third of our lives in bed. It is no surprise therefore that mattresses, pillows and duvets contain the greatest concentration of dust mites in the home. Although this is the area we concentrate on, remember that dust mites will thrive in most constantly warm, moist and cosy locations, making rugs, soft furnishings and cuddly toys prime targets too.
 Our method of chemical free cleansing is already proven in the medical field and is the most effective way to combat dust mite allergens in all these areas. It is important however, not to do this in isolation but to keep the home as dust-free as possible to maintain a hygienic environment. This will also prolong the effectiveness of our work.
The cleansing operation is carried out in situ with the mattress remaining on the bed frame. The process is thorough, effective and safe, leaving your bedding and soft furnishings healthy and fresh with none of the residual smells or side effects associated with other deep cleaning systems.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Allergex sanitising system has 4 components:
- The machine generates high frequency waves that loosen and
pulverise the excrement and dust mites.
- UV-C rays are passed over the mattress, these kill off Dust
Mites, bacteria, viruses, and spores, effectively sterilising the
mattress without the need for chemicals.
- Dust Mites and excrement are then removed by a powerful
vacuum system incorporating a HEPA filter to prevent any
particles escaping.
- Finally a chemical free disinfecting spray that is harmless to
pets and humans is lightly sprayed on to the surface of the
mattress. This acts as a repellent and a retardant to Dust Mite
reproduction.
